The conference was great. I like to going to Slovakia very much. The program was well assembled, and I was interested in pricing and branding. It was great that there was also a foreign speaker who gave us a global point of view different than ours from the small Czech and Slovak sandbox. Looks it will be a good party, too. For the first year, the conference looks great and I am looking forward to next year’s.

First of all, we are thankful for the opportunity to participate in the first year of the event. Three of us attended from dm drogerie markt, and we all left with a lot of beneficial information about the current situation on the Slovak market and trends in customer behavior. Our company has also entered the online world, so the panel discussion “Will Slovaks learn to buy food in e-shops?” was very interesting. We are looking forward to the next year of TaPcon, and we believe that we will again be able to hear inspiring presentations on current market topics.

In May 2019, I took part in the TaPcon congress in Hotel Senec. It was the first time that this conference was indirectly linked to the General Assembly of the Confederation of Trade of the Slovak Republic. The congress captivated me, not only with its excellent organization but also with the chosen topics. This is also evidenced by the high participation of decision-makers. It was finally something practical that is of interest to all major retailers and suppliers in Slovakia. Appropriately chosen speakers and moderators represented a broad spectrum of views on individual conference topics. I was very intrigued and entertained by the lecture by Mila Knepr on the group of customers between 50 and 65 years old and the opportunity to discuss this topic. I will definitely recommend participation in future years. I look forward to next year!

A very good and quality program – something we definitely need for retailers. It was a little bit unfortunate that the event took place during the hockey world cup when many of us had to travel around Slovakia with our partners, but I am very happy that despite this so many of us came together and we heard interesting presentations. I really liked Toby Desforges’ presentation, which was absolutely perfect. Conferences of this type are big benefit for me for two reasons. The first is the professional one, listening to what is happening in the world, confronting new trends, and the second, no less important, is networking.

The venue of the conference was well chosen with trouble-free parking. From the content of the conference, I found the panel discussions to be especially beneficial, above all the discussion about trends in food shopping over the internet, where I was very interested in the experience of Mr. Čupr from Rohlí Equally inspiring was Toby Desforges’ presentation on the subject of changes in consumer behavior. Given the interesting content and scope of the one-day conference, I would like to attend it in the future.
